Things You Need To Know:

VoIP Username & Password

Find this by going to the 'My Numbers' section of your account, and clicking on the number you'd like to connect to. The username and password details are at the bottom of the page, under 'VoIP Settings.'

The Phone's IP Address

GXP 2000, 2010, 2020: The IP Address is shown on the Idle Screen.

GXP 280, 1200: Press Menu, then Status. The IP address will be shown on the Status Screen.

For other models in the Grandstream range, go to Menu > Status > Network Status > IPV4 Address

Similarly for newer versions go to Menu > Network > IP Settings > IPV4 > IPAddress

Configuring Your Phone:

Log In to the Phone

  1. In your web browser enter: http://IPADDRESS where IPADDRESS is the address you found out in the previous stage.
  2. At the Grandstream Login Page, enter the password 'admin'.
  3. Click on the Account you'd like to configure.

Entering the Settings

Most of the settings can be left as default, the things to change are as follows:

  • Account Name: This will display on your phone when you receive a call through Usomo
  • SIP Server: sip.voiphome.co.uk:8060
  • SIP User ID: This is your VoIP username
  • Local SIP Port: 8060
  • Authentication ID: This is also your VoIP username
  • Authentication Password: This is your VoIP password
  • Display Name: This is the name that will display on other Usomo phones when you dial them.
  • SIP Transport Type: UDP
  • NAT Traversal (STUN)): No, but send keep-alive
  • Voice Mail User ID: 8000
